Youth Confirmation
Welcome!
I hope you and your family are staying safe during this pandemic. I am happy to announce that the registrations for the Catechetical Year 2021-2022 have begun.
The Youth Confirmation Preparation is a 2 year Program, the student registering must be at least 14 years old by April of the year registering. This is a youth program so it is for youth that are 14 - 18 years old. Those that are 17 and turning 18 in the upcoming months can register to receive adult preparation instead.
This is an only English Program.
If the youth does not meet the age requirements they will not be accepted in the program.
The requirements will be the same as other years, for first year students:
- Turn in a Baptism certificate (original or copy)
- Turn in a First Holy Communion certificate (original or copy).
- The diocese requires that the youth be 14 years by April of the year they are registering.
For second year students:
- There is no need to re-submit either a Baptism or First Holy Communion certificate if it was submitted last year.
This catechetical year:
-The classes will be offered on Sundays in person.
- If there is another shutdown we will then continue on Zoom.
- Homework & other assignments will be through Google Classroom.
-The students will have to attend mass on Sundays either online or in person.
- Complete 15 hours of community service.

Bienvenidos!
Espero que usted y su familia estén seguros durante esta pandemia. Me complace anunciar que han comenzado las inscripciones para el Año Catequético 2021-2022.
La Preparación para la Confirmación Juvenil es un programa de 2 años, el estudiante que se registra debe tener al menos 14 años en abril del año en que se registra. Este es un programa para jóvenes, de 14 a 18 años. Aquellos que tienen 17 años y cumplirán 18 en los próximos meses pueden registrarse para recibir preparación para adultos.
This is an only English Program.
Este programa es solo en inglés.
Si el joven no cumple con los requisitos de edad, no será aceptado en el programa.
Los requisitos serán los mismos que los demás años, para los alumnos de primer año:
- Entregar certificado de bautismo (original o copia)
- Entregar un certificado de Primera Comunión (original o copia).
- La diócesis requiere que los jóvenes tengan 14 años antes de abril del año en que se están registrando.
Para estudiantes de segundo año:
- No es necesario volver a enviar un certificado de bautismo o primera comunión si se envió el año pasado.
Este año catequético:
- Las clases se ofrecerán los domingos en persona.
- La tarea y otras asignaciones se realizarán a través de Google Classroom.
- Los estudiantes deberán asistir a misa los domingos ya sea en línea o en persona.
- Completa 15 horas de servicio comunitario.
